【Exemption of CD Audition】

People who have either passed a preliminary competition or passed the CD audition for K Music Competition within the last three years are exempt from the CD audition. It is possible for them to sign up for the semifinal rounds directly. For those who wish to be exempt from the CD audition, please write the name of the competition, what year, and what number competition it was (first, second, third, etc) when you register in the notes of you registration form. Even for those who wish to be exempt from the CD audition, you are still able to participate in the preliminaries. In fact, we recommend participating due to the useful comments you can receive from our judges in the preliminaries.

• Performing the same composition for the preliminaries, semifinal, and final rounds is acceptable.
• Using musical scores is acceptable.

Song Choice

Multiple songs can be performed as long as the performer doesn’t exceed the time limit. Original compositions will not be accepted.
